Kiya Daye is a Broadcast Journalism scholar at Florida A&M University with a passion for purpose driven storytelling. With a strong foundation in media ethics, reporting, and multimedia production, she is committed to using journalism as a tool for impact and accountability.
Following graduation, Kiya plans to pursue a career in investigative journalism, where she aims to amplify the voices of victims who have been silenced and uncover truths that demand attention. She is especially dedicated to telling the stories of underserved and urban communities, stories that are too often overlooked, underreported, or misunderstood.
Driven by integrity and empathy, Kiya believes journalism should not only inform, but empower. Her goal is to create meaningful narratives that shine light on injustice, elevate marginalized voices, and spark conversations that lead to change.
